MPM offers a consultant directed program with the theme “Not Equal Gifts ... But Equal Sacrifice.” We encourage sacrificial commitments to be made “over and above” regular budget giving. The commitments are most often made for a period of three years.

We also recommend a three level goal structure. We always customize the goals for each congregation according to

• The church’s giving pattern over the past five years…

• The numerical growth of the past five years…

• The economic realities of their community and…

• The preliminary responses from leadership determined several weeks into the program.

We help congregations raise the necessary dollars as God brings change in people's hearts.

Our first goal is to see your people experience spiritual and stewardship renewal. As your people respond biblically, with no pressure from the consultant, the capital will be given. Many consultants focus on the dollars to be raised but a congregation’s potential is never realized with that approach. People give money as their lives are transformed spiritually and they respond positively to the principles of Biblical stewardship. Your people are taught to do four things:

• Give voluntarily

• Determine their commitment through prayer

• Give sacrificially

• Give expressing faith

When people do these things, manipulation, intimidation or pressure is unnecessary. In fact, once the stewardship program begins, very little is said about money.
